The Benefits of BIM
Building Information Modeling is a sophisticated tool that allows designers and clients to visualize an end product while helping the construction team understand its assembly. Through BIM, more complex buildings can be generated and possible conflicts that may arise can be identified. Most importantly, this process can fine-tune costs and assist in the development of cost-effective environmental control systems as multiple alternatives can be studied at the same time. Construction documents are also generated more easily, allowing architects to use more time in the design development phase.
